All of our pieces are "made-to-order" which means that we handcraft them specially for you on an order basis upon completion of payment. Upon finalization of your ordered piece/pieces, we will dispatch all of your goods together with a tracking number and you will have to sign the parcel upon reception. All of the deliveries are fully insured by us. A tracking link directing you to the DHL shipping portal will be sent to you via email once your order has been shipped.
All of our orders are delivered through DHL Express directly from our production house in Transylvania to your home. The estimated delivery time from order placement is currently 3-4 weeks. If you would need to get your product faster, one of our retailers in your area might have you covered. Find our list of retailers here.
Shipping fees are included for any order above 150 €. For orders less than 150 € fees vary according to the weight of the shipment and to destination. The shipping fee will show up on check-out. All of our goods come in amply sized boxes and your pieces are well protected.
All countries within the EU are exempt of any taxes surplus of the total check-out amount. Shipping outside of the EU is however not inclusive of duties and taxes and are not accounted for in the total check-out amount. These costs will however be due upon receipt. Please call DHL in your country for an accurate price estimate of duties and taxes, before you place the order.
Taxes not payed for will mean that DHL will have to return the product to us, upon which we reimburse you the complete price of the product, but will save the right to deduct 25 € as a handling fee and keep any charges for shipping costs.

CARE & WARRANTY
The slight imperfections in the leather are natural characteristics of the hides and should be seen as qualities and proof of authenticity. In order to preserve the original quality of the product we advice you to keep it away from heat, sun and humidity which might darken the leather over time. Because of the living nature of the leather, changes in hue or color might occur even when stored properly in a dark place. If exposed to rain you should dry the piece immediately with a dry soft neutral cloth and leave in a well-aired place with normal room temperature. Do not try to fasten the drying process with a hairdryer, drying cabinet or element as it might preserve the darkened water stains. Because of the open pores and untreated, naked nature of the leather stains from cosmetics, oil and water might remain despite proper measures taken. The hides might as well absorb other colors from textiles and clothing while being carried. This could be solved by treating the colored area with a leather cream the same color as the leather.
When not used, please store the piece in the accompanied dust bag on a dark place with normal room temperature. If needed fill the bag with paper and store any crossbody straps outside of the dust bag, preferably hanged in a closet. Treat the leather with leather protection cream or leather conditioner from time to time, depending on use, but not too often. Be aware that some creams or oils could darken the leather. Avoid buying creams with silicone or other synthetic ingredients. Please advice your local shoe repair shop or leather craftsman for further advice on protection creams and conditioners.
REPAIRS & RECONDITIONS
We encourage you to visit your local leather craftsman for repairs or a recondition of your good. If you still would prefer us doing the work we could be of help for a fee, please email email@example.com and we will get in touch with you.
All of our pieces come with a one year warranty from the date of purchase. This covers stitching and hardware, but not natural marks and scratches on the leather, changes in color or hue over time (from exposure to sun, leather creams or its natural changes). Nor does the warranty cover general wear and tear of the leather or hardware.
Gårdendal is not liable in any way for damage to the product due to improper use or conservation in a way that does not comply with the instructions provided herein. For specific product care inquiries you could email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The price listed next to each product on the ”made to order” button is inclusive of a Swedish 25% VAT (Value Added Tax). This amount can not be deducted. If you are a company and would like to buy our products you will have to contact firstname.lastname@example.org prior to any order placement. All transactions are in the currency you select, at this time EUR is the only available currency.

CART & CHECK-OUT
Orders are served on a first-come, first-served basis, whereby we attend your request in the order that they arrive.
During checkout you can choose between the following payment methods: PayPal or Credit Card (VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Jcb, Diners Club). If you select PayPal as a payment method you will be taken to a PayPal login page, where you can access your account and complete your purchase. Payment via Bank Transfer, Check or COD are not accepted. We do not accept orders via telephone at this time. Klarna will be available for our Swedish customers in short time.
All payments made on www.gardendal.se are secured via our EV SSL 256 bit encryption, the highest secured standard for online payments.
Registering on an account on www.gardendal.se allows you to check on the status of your order, track your parcel and save your shipping details for a faster check out on future orders. You can register by clicking on the ”My Account” button in the upper right corner of every page on desktop, or through the menu botton on mobile. Once registered you are allowed to sign in to your account through the same ”My Account” section.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
For all products that are "made to order" refunds or exhanges are not possible due to the product being custom made.
For products bought that are on stock and ready for delivery, the following procedure is available should a return be of interest.
In order to be eligible to return your good, you should not take away the plastic tag from the bag, this is a warranty that the bag has not been worn. The bag has to be completely unused and the packaging, dust bag, paperwork and tags saved complete. If you meet these requirements you could request a return by following the instructions in the section ”Request a return”.
REQUEST A RETURN
If you would like to request a return on one or more of your ordered products you will have to fill out the form on this link within 14 days from signing the reception of the goods. Once you have submitted your request, a return authorization will be sent to your specified email within 72 hours with return instructions. Please do not ship your return back to us without this authorization, as it will not be processed. Request a return
We will reimburse the complete cost of the product, but will have to deduct 25 € from the reimbursed amount due to handling and packaging costs. Neither will any shipping fees be reimbursed. Any duties and taxes collected by DHL in your country upon delivery will not be refundable.
If you would like to exchange a product you will have to request a return of the product and order a new one at your own expense. To request a return please follow the instructions given in the section ”Request a return”. We strongly encourage you to email us at email@example.com with any prior questions or concerns. We also strongly suggest that you note measurements and scale of your desired product before purchasing.
In the event of manufacturing defect or defects occurred through the shipping, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receipt of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse any return of goods that does not meet the above requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be sent back to you at your own expense and a refund will not be issued. We appreciate your understanding.
